for us the 3 main meals.
Once you book, close to the date of the event we will
send you a menu which include a vegetarian option.
Of course you can sort out your own food but be aware

Group Intensive Weekend Workshop
30th
-31th of August 2008
- Alteraciones
This is one of those beautiful ideas of
tango, where we turn without collecting feet, creating
a particular effect. We will explain the principles.
Starting with some simple ideas, expanding to more
complex ones.
- Turns for close embrace
We want to share some nice ideas about turning, we will
work with different way of turning, making use of the
possibilities within this embrace.
- Catching feet
This is about catching each others
feet, with your own feet!...we will do some exercises
to try some "catches",then we will move on to some more
unexpected and surprising ones. It will be a good fun!
- Waltz
We will start with exploring dancing waltz in the main
pulse of the music, then we will spend good time
working with double tempo bring some nice movements for
Waltz.
Below
are the Topics that we suggested for the
5th
Small
Group Intensive Weekend Workshop
6th-7th
of September 2008
- Playing and exploring in Vertical direction
We will explore movement in the vertical
direction, movements that go below and above our
natural stance.
Although the leading and following are subtle and
sensitive, you can create a subtle or dramatic effect,
and anything in between.
- Turns for close embrace
We want to share some nice
ideas about turning, we will work with different
ways of turning,
and with specific ones that work great in a close
embrace keeping the closeness and sensitivity alive.
- Leg Wraps
These are movements when followers swings the leg,
wrapping it around the leader's leg.
We will develop the topic from the beginning, paying
attention to the principles behind it, how to lead and
follow.
- Rythm, sincopa
Sincopa is a specific beautiful rhythm,
quiet common in tango. We will spend a bit of time with
double tempo, for then go deep in the subject of
Sincopa, noticing in the music and working with some
movements that fit this.
