Being focus on our self, working and improving the
understanding of leading and following. starting from
simple vocabulary and with it focus in Boleos
2) Complex Moves in Close Embrace,
How to add in the close embrace movements that are
easier in the open embrace, like sacadas, barridas, etc
3) Shared Axis Turns & Colgadas

4)The last move!
Focus in the end of the piece of music, the last move,
what to do and how to link it with the music. working
with the way that different Orquestas finish the tune

1) Listening - Ganchos
Being focus on our self, working and
improving the understanding of leading and following.
Starting from simple vocabulary and with it focus in
Ganchos
2) Milonga
What make milonga milonga! We'll work with the music,
the feeling and the quality of movement. From there
focus on some specific movements and doble tempo
(milonga traspie)
3) Colgadas
We will develop the concept from the beginning,
understanding the principles and body posture. And how
to place it in our dance through some concrete options.
4) Complex Moves in Close Embrace,
We will begin by working with the technique to develop
a comfortable and pleasurable embrace. Having this as a
base we will work in different moves like ochos, giros,
sacadas,etc

Group Intensive Weekend Workshop
28th
-29th of June ‘08
- Ocho Cortado
it is very old, small and dynamic
movement of Tango vocabulary, we will start from the
beginning, understanding the concept through exercise,
pointing details in the leading and following, and
exploring the different options of doing an
ocho
cortado and how to place it in the
dance.
- Pisadas "Steping", (advanced)
A very juicy idea to lead the follower into it. This is
about fine tuning, it is about leading the follower to
place her foot next to the leader's foot in particular
moments. This is special for those who enjoy leading
and following with "precision" and to dance with
"delicate fine moves".
- Sacadas for her and for him
One for you, one for me. After exploring the idea
behind a sacada we learn some ideas to explore
different sacadas as well as using some of the time to
find out some for yourself.

Musicallity; melody
& rythm (*)
Dancing is respond, interact, play with the music.
After a very simple way of describing music, We will
pain attention and some aspect of the music, as well as
a few tips how to modify the dynamic of different
movements.

-31th of August 2008 ‘08
- Alteraciones
This is one of those beautiful ideas of
tango, where we turn without collecting feet, creating
a particular effect. We will explain the principles.
Starting with some simple ideas, expanding to more
complex ones.
- Turns for close embrace
We want to share some nice ideas about turning, we will
work with different way of turning, making use of the
possibilities within this embrace.
- Catching feet
This is about catching each others
feet, with your own feet!...we will do some exercises
to try some "catches",then we will move on to some more
unexpected and surprising ones. It will be a good fun!
- Waltz
We will start with exploring dancing waltz in the main
pulse of the music, then we will spend good time
working with double tempo bring some nice movements for
Waltz.

Group Intensive Weekend Workshop
6th-7th
of September 2008

- Playing and exploring in Vertical direction
We will explore movement in the vertical
direction, movements that go below and above our
natural stance.
Although the leading and following are subtle and
sensitive, you can create a subtle or dramatic effect,
and anything in between.
- Turns for close embrace
We want to share some
nice
ideas about turning, we will work with different
ways of turning,
and with specific ones that work great in a close
embrace keeping the closeness and sensitivity alive.
- Leg Wraps
These are movements when followers swings the leg,
wrapping it around the leader's leg.
We will develop the topic from the beginning, paying
attention to the principles behind it, how to lead and
follow.
- Rythm, sincopa
Sincopa is a specific beautiful rhythm,
quiet common in tango. We will spend a bit of time with
double tempo, for then go deep in the subject of
Sincopa, noticing in the music and working with some
movements that fit this.

7th - 8th of February 2009 ‘09
1) Walking - Presence - Precision - Togetherness

In
this workshops we will focus in Basic moves, but with
Advance approach. We will work with posture, quality of
walk, developing sensitivity within the embrace, And
slowly moves to more complex movements being the core,
the togetherness with in the couple.
2) Quality in the Dance (**)
We
will continue with the focus of presence, precision and
togetherness from the first workshop, however we will
be taking it much further and producing more complex
movements.
We will work with sacadas, ganchos, and more.
3) Milonga
What makes milonga milonga! Fun &
Smiles ! We'll work with the music, the feeling and the
quality of movement. Focusing on some specific
movements but keeping the fun and alive.
4) We will hear your recommendation and we will include
a 4th topic
Please, feel free to suggest a Topic , we
will do our best to include it in one of the other ones
or as a main Topic.
