Tango Sonoro
will be playing at the B-bar in Plymouth on Friday 2
Sept from 9pm onwards. Tickets are £3 each. If you have
never been to the B-Bar, it is a really groovy venue,
which regularly hosts live music events and Saturday
night Cuban Parties.
The 5-piece
band will play a repertoire of mainly traditional
Argentine tango music with some milongas, valses and
tango nuevo pieces. The plan is to do two sets of
approx. 45min each. Tables will be removed to make
space for dancing. Thai food will be served beforehand
for those who wish to eat there. The bar will be open
throughout the evening. They specialise in Cuban
cocktails and do all the usual
drinks.
The gig is
not yet showing on the B-bar website. Anyone wishing to
come should either contact the B-bar directly, check
their website over the next week or take their chance
at the door.
