“Just a quick email to tell you how much we enjoyed the
weekend just gone. We thoroughly enjoyed the
combination of the hotel and dancing. Because everyone
was eating together, it made the whole event more
relaxed and friendly.
We thought that having the included workshops in the
mornings was excellent, as it meant that the whole
afternoon was free if people didnt want to do
workshops. It also meant that there was a steady group
of people throughout the afternoon in the main Warwick
ballroom, who enjoyed having the constant music on. The
lessons were excellent, and really well-taught. We both
hope that you can repeat the event next year, as June
was a fantastic time to enjoy the Torquay sunshine!

“You have probably been bombarded with feedback about
the event. Well I don't want to be left out so am
adding my comments too! I say a big thank you to
yourselves and Komala and Stefan. Somehow the event
combined everything good to exceed any expectation. I
met some lovely and impressive dancers, yet have never
felt so happy and relaxed, and able to apply (yes, lots
more practice needed) the things I learned from kind
teachers. The venue, the excellent tuition, and the
wonderful spirit (so the dancing was by turns soulful
and happy) worked together for a profound experience I
will never forget. You are unique dancers to be able to
evoke such style, soul, and crazy fun!”

enjoyed the Tango Feast. What a wonderful venue, and we
found that people were extremely friendly. We enjoyed
the lesson with you, and were sorry that we couldnt
stay for the second one on Sunday afternoon.
Now that we know more about the weekend, we will
definitely plan to have Monday off work, so that we
dont feel pressurised to get home at a reasonable time.
Anyway, thank you both very much, and we look forward

work you put in. I will certainly be back for the
midsummer feast – I just need to sort out who I’ll be
booking with this time.
I
thought the first workshop got everyone really relaxed
and in the right mood (as well as having being a really
good tango lesson) and was a great icebreaker. Komala
& Stefan were also fantastic teachers - and I felt
you’d put me in exactly the right level of workshop.
Everyone I talked to really enjoyed their lessons, I
personally felt there were ample to allow time to
absorb and work on the material. The location was
wonderful – first time I’d been there.”

“Dear Tara and Fernando,
This is to say a big thank you! I had a wonderful and
very happy time at your tango feast. The appetizer on
Friday in Torquay was great fun, especially the
surprise moves for the guys and girls to practise on
unsuspecting partners - caused giggles and mayhem all
round!
The Oldway Mansion was again a very special treat -
with the added bonus of late summer sunshine to make
the atmosphere even better. The opening workshop with
its silent tango was a wonderful experience - suddenly
we were like a flock of birds or a shoal of fish (so
that's how they do it!). And all those little
introductory connections helped towards dancing with
new partners later in the day/evening. What a great
idea.
I was particularly impressed by the teaching - the
attention to detail, the great sense of humour and
playfulness, the relaxed and patient encouragment to
achieving skills. I would also like to compliment David
and Fernando on their music choices. It was truly a
fabulous selection.
I don't think I stopped smiling all weekend and all the
way home, so thank you once again and hope to see you
at the next one!”
