Benjamin is a young French teacher. After falling in love with tango when he was only 21, he started travelling intensely all over Europe to study and practice, and co-founded in 2009 El Recodo tango society in Bordeaux. With a strong desire to share the knowledge he’d collected, he’s been teaching, djing and organizing events ever since. Investigating both roles, his tango is based on a blend of all the styles and mastery he’s encountered in his travels with the necessary touch of other body techniques. In his teaching, Benjamin focuses on playful and thorough communication between the partners through a warm embrace, technique and an intense interpretation of the music. He’s been actively supporting the development of the website www.el-recodo.com created by his friend and colleague and containing an extensive database on tango music, as well as a musical quizz, to keep spreading tango culture in a different and complementary way.
